Meet Aimee, Group Communication Specialist in Dublin, Ireland. Aimee studied International Languages and Literature at University College Dublin with a post-grad degree in Public Relations.

Why did you choose a career at Eurofins?
I was really interested in working for such an international company, with such a significant global footprint which was continuing to grow rapidly.

What does a typical day look like for you?
Based in Dublin, I am part of the Communications department. We support all elements of external and internal communication – from social media to employer branding and creating content to showcase the amazing work Eurofins laboratories and scientists do across the world every day.
No two days are the same, and it really depends on the types of projects we are working on, or operational developments across the Group that we are supporting – but that’s what keeps it interesting!

What has been your favourite project at Eurofins so far?
Developing the Our World Needs You campaign to support recruitment of graduates across the world has been a real highlight for me. Not only did I have the opportunity to work on a project that connected with students and introduced all of the amazing work going on across Eurofins to them, I also got the chance to meet and work with some amazing young Eurofins employees across the world as part of the campaign.

What surprised you about Eurofins?
How the work the Group touches almost any industry you can think of! Our scientists are instrumental in testing evidence that can crack crime cases, in making sure you can trust that the foods you buy are genuinely organic or vegan etc., and in testing any consumer product you can think of. The work Eurofins does touches our day to day lives in so many ways.
This year I have been really blown away by the incredible work Eurofins staff have carried out to support governments and public health authorities to respond to COVID-19 and keep their societies safe, through testing to identify the virus.
