What do you like most about Eurofins?
My experience with Eurofins has been amazing because of multiple factors, so choosing the best among them would be very hard. Starting from my training, during which I was trained by the best and prepared for the kind of work I’d be doing in projects once deployed, until now, when I’m working with a very supportive and understanding team, each moment has been golden. I’m a part of a team that never underestimated me. From the first day, I had their support. I was never treated as a newbie and very quickly became a part of the family. This is what Eurofins is to me, and I love it.
What does a typical day look like for you?
As a student in college, I always wondered what gave people the drive to go to office every day and not get bored of the monotonous life of going to and from. Once I started working here, I quickly understood. Every day is a new challenge and there’s a lot of excitement. I’m given tasks to complete within a certain timeframe and each task is a new form of learning. There hasn’t been a single day when I haven’t learnt something. Apart from this, as a member of the Event Management Group in my team, I get to plan out fun and exciting events for everyone.
Any advice for future graduates ?
Life as a student is bound by certain rules and there’s a flow that you can just go along with. Life outside of university feels so much more open and unbound. It can get overwhelming. But, like everything else, we get used to it and we learn how to make the best of it. I was scared about how things would be just after graduating but I’d say: don’t be. Embrace it. It’s a new beginning; it’s going to be a lot of fun. Do what you love and love what you do.
